EA Ecoversity is a newly established organization that provides courses to reconnect Native Hawaiians to traditional ways of life. It was important to create a website that had traditional elements but could still attract users in a modern era.

solution:

In representing the Ecoversity it was important to implement various Hawaiian elements. We worked alongside a graphic designer to create patterns based on traditional Hawaiian quilting and included photography from various times throughout Hawaii’s history. We implemented a dark color palette with bold fonts to give the users a feeling of strength in the design.
